The story of MICRO is the story of the Corrugated Packaging Industry in India.

Established in the year 1963 MICRO pioneered the manufacture of Corrugated Packaging Machinery which till then were imported from developed countries like Japan.

As the Corrugated Packaging Industry in India grew in stature and style, MICRO took up the challenge of meeting the need for modern high speed sophisticated machinery and hence developed and manufactured practically all the machinery required by the Packaging Industry in India. MICRO today offers a complete range of machinery including the fully automatic 3/5 ply corrugated board/box making plants. In keeping with its position as a proven leader. MICRO also offers complete technology for manufacture of Corrugated Packaging.

As an organisation with a firm belief in updating its technology to increase productivity and efficiency, MICRO continues to develop new and innovative machines to meet the changing requirements of the industry. Right from designing, to giving the final touches; each machine at MICRO is created as a work of art. Modern, well equipped plants and dedicated personnel have contributed to making MICRO machines the proven performers.

At MICRO, critical operations are carried out on some of the world's best machines, resulting in quality and precision that can match international standards. The Men behind the Machine...

Behind every successful organisation are men driven with a passion to excel. At MICRO there is Mr. Surinder Bhurjee, to whom making machines is not a matter of business but an enduring passion. His zeal and enthusiasm and his technological skills in designing find expression in every machine that MICRO manufactures. Mr. SURINDER BHURJEE is the Managing Partner of MICRO MECHANICAL WORKS. He is a self made man and has been responsible for taking MICRO to its present height of International fame, and making it a household name. Due to sheer dint of hard work and a very keen mind, he has been quick to pick up and study new engineering products, and design them himself. He is widely travelled all over the world and has gained a lot of knowledge of packaging machinery. He is a keen golfer and is associated with a number of social organizations. He is also a member on the Working Committee of ENGINEERING EXPORT PROMOTION COUNCIL, INDIA (WESTERN REGION) and ALL INDIA PRINTING & PACKAGING MACHINERY MANUFACTURERS ASSOCIATION, NEW DELHI.

To assist him in his endeavour are his two sons Mr. Gurbir Bhurjee and Mr. Gurinder Bhurjee, together with a team of qualified and loyal men.

Gurbir Bhurjee joined his father in this family business in the year 1984. He had two years training on the workshop floor. He has also completed a one year Business Management Course through Xavier Institute of Management , Bombay. Presently he is handling the production of one of the factories independently. He is proficient in managing local and international exhibitions, which he has been doing for the last several years. Like his father, he too has widely travelled all over the world. He is a keen golfer and is very much active in sports and social activities.

Mr. Gurinder Bhurjee joined the family business as partner in the year 1989, after two years training on the workshop floor. He manages one of the factories absolutely independently, looking after its sales and production. He too has travelled all·over the world and is a keen golfer

Over the years, the men at the helm of MICRO have acquired technical skills to design and manufacture machines that stand out as innovative examples. It is this zeal for perfection that has earned them the trust and confidence of the corrugated packaging industry in India and abroad.
